Description
LOCTITE ECI 8001 is a thermoplastic, carbon-based PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) conductive ink designed for low-voltage self-regulating heating elements (<50 V). It automatically limits the heating power at a target temperature (~60°C) without requiring external control systems, making it ideal for safe, efficient heating applications.
This black screen-printable paste is optimized for flexible substrates such as PET, PEN, and PI, and offers strong adhesion, consistent performance, and compatibility with LOCTITE ECI 1010 silver ink. Resistance can be fine-tuned by blending with LOCTITE NCI 8002. LOCTITE ECI 8001 is perfect for printed heaters used in automotive, consumer electronics, and smart textiles.
